John leads the continued expansion of Seattles Best Coffee's franchising program. His appointment is part of Starbucks Corporation's focus on growing the Seattle's Best Coffee brand in the U.S.
Prior to joining Seattle’s Best Coffee, John served as Vice President of Development for Kahala Franchise Corporation, franchisor of 12 individual brands including Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie’s and Taco Time. In his role there, he guided the growth of more than 1,400 stores and created the first non-traditional retail opportunities including airports, sports arenas, travel plazas and amusement parks.

Marie Gill director, franchise business development, CFE If she was coffee, she'd be: Bright and Intense.
Marie applies almost twenty years of coffee knowledge to the business of franchise cafe and kiosk development by leading the strategic planning, sales support and real estate planning for the brand.
Marie started her coffee journey via Seattle's Best Coffee in 1992 and came back to the brand via the Starbucks Corporation in 2008. Now, Marie leads a team of business development professionals who marry their passion for the brand with the practical aspects of the business opportunity.

Susan Forrester director, site selection for U.S. Retail If she was coffee, she'd be: Classic and Well-balanced.
Susan brings over 20 years of real estate experience and leadership to her role at Seattle’s Best Coffee. Before joining the Company she owned a real estate consulting firm where she worked with several well-known brands. Prior to that, she worked directly with franchisees on their real estate needs with the Wendy’s Organization and I Can’t Believe Its Yogurt. Susan leads our quest to bring great coffee everywhere by creating new and scalable site opportunities and assists the Seattle’s Best Coffee franchise community with identifying better sites more quickly.

Sid support new licensed cafe development for Seattle's Best Coffee in captive marketacross the U.S. He cultivates prospective licensees and develops strategic corporate and franchise relationships. Sid joined Seattle's Best Coffee in 2007 after very successful experience in managing national strategic partnerships in the travel segment.

Kristi has worked in the coffee industry for 17 years in operatios and sales. leading multi-unit openings with Fortune 500 companies and individual entrepreneus.
For the last five years, she has focused on the sales and business development of Seattle’s Best Coffee, opening over 490 locations. Kristi is the point person for anyone interested in franchising with Seattle’s Best Coffee. She will walk you through the entire franchise process, qualifications and assist in answering all of your questions regarding the brand.

Pat Hiller franchise sales executive, CFE If he was coffee, he'd be: Robust and Satisfying.
Pat joined Seattle's Best Coffee in February of 2010, with extensive experience in real estate site selection, negotion, and operations, as well as franchise sales and development with several national brands.
He is an expert in sourcing and qualifying agreements for our franchise cafes. Pat enjoys working with fun-loving franchise partners to help coordinate with operations, training and development, with the end goal being a successful cafe opening.

Dennis leads the design and construction teams that guide franchise to the completion of their Seattle's Best Coffee location.
This includes site approval, concept development, specific design drawings of the location, construction guidance, signage and acceptance of the location when completed. With help from Dennis’ team, franchisees will enjoy working on finding the great locations and developing their individual cafe sites, along with the best value for their development budget.

Johanna Oseland business development manager If she was coffee, she'd be: Zesty and Spirited.
Johanna has worked in the coffee industry for 14 years in supply chain, foodservice operations and franchise operations. In her current role, she supports our "franchise-to-be" every step of the way. From the time you sign the deal till the day you open your doors, Johanna will work diligently to make your opening a success. Because of her zeal for the brand and the business, out franchisees integrate easily into the Seattle's Best Coffee system and ramp up quickly.

Kevin Carothers marketing manager If he was coffee, he'd be: Snappy and Spirited.
Kevin is responsible for developing and supporting easy to execute marketing tools and programs that Seattle's Best Coffee franchisees use in driving their business, from Grand Opening plans to marketing within the cafe neighborhood.
He also manages the public relations team responsible for communicating new product announcements, business growth and franchising initiatives. Kevin joined Seattle’s Best Coffee in 2007 after 11 years with Starbucks Corporation, where he held various roles in the marketing, public relations, community and public affairs teams.
